I have been wishing for a google notes API for weeks now. Ever since I heavily adopted using Google Notes I have really been wanting an API to be able to manipulate more.
Together with Google Reader my Google Notebook are tools that I use on a daily basis. I utilize my Firefox Google Notebook add-on to gather my thoughts and gather data from web sites I visit on the fly.
I have been integrating usage of Google Notebook in various business models as a tool because it is so versatile for storing and organizing data.
Now that there is an API the sky is the limit....wait to see more!!
